Oakwood Health in Southeast Michigan is comprised of 4 acute care hospitals, 1,267 licensed beds, approximately 1,300 physicians, and approximately 9,500 employees.
This project involved a complete redesign of oakwood.org, creating one of the first large scale responsively designed sites in health care. The project was undertaken to modernize the look, improve usability, and deliver a responsive design solution to address the growing percentage of visitors arriving on mobile devices.
In 2014 Oakwood merged with Beaumont Health Systems.
