Midtown Building Company is a Detroit based general contractor that excels at integrating client needs with project demands, whether creating superior energy efficient residential housing, integrating material reuse into signature commercial experiences, or specialized technology integration.
Knowing owner Dan Pratt since childhood, I'm always excited to hear about and help friends with their goals. We discussed what his company was an their intentions to bring about change brick by brick and block by block in Midtown. With many projects happening in Detroit's Midtown area, one of the companies most exciting projects was the overhaul of the Corktown neighborhoods The Factory. Conveniently located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard, The Factory at Corktown is the headquarters of Buhl Sport Detroit and Brother's Tuning Detroit. Recently, The Factory became home to 200+ employees of Ford Motor Company's autonomous vehicle and electric vehicle business and strategy teams, including Team Edison.
